Oh no, what happened?
Dear Sir/Madame,
As you might be aware, Enoctus has recently dropped service entirely due to various ISP/datacenter reasons which this email will explain.
Back in February, 2018 we introduced an unrivalled service within the Hong Kong area. Our competitors weren’t particularly happy with our market share and rapid growth. As a “solution” to their decreasing popularity, we have been targeted by large scale attacks consistently for months. Despite the attacks, it was all under control until our ISPs have decided to unplug our equipped without notice with the excuse that they can no longer continue supplying the previous service and can no longer keep their promise. Those were some tough new for Enoctus as we were previously encouraged to continue normal business within the affected region by the very same ISPs that disconnected us with no notice. International legal action is being considered against the multiple parties involved in misinforming Enoctus and our customers.
While we understand everyone who had a service with us might be extremely disappointed due to the data loss and unexpected shutdown, the issue was entirely external that is outside of our scope. Similar data loss had occurred in multiple leaders within the hosting industry, but they would normally have 5000 out of 100 000 websites affected. As Enoctus is a smaller company, the magnitude of the issue affected us significantly.
The future.
Enoctus will continue normal business operations within our London, New York City, Los Angeles and Frankfurt datacenters. Some of these regions might currently be out of stock due to server equipment currently being provisioned for our usage. Unlike our Hong Kong location that cannibalised the rest of the company, all of the 4 datacenters above are reputable ISPs that we have strong relationships with. While we won’t be providing compensations to customers, everyone who receives this email is eligible for a 50% lifetime discount on all Linux and Windows cloud services. We have exciting projects that are currently in development, including the launch of a few new datacenter locations.

Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused you. Enoctus will from now on only carry business with reputable ISPs and strict contracts. We hope you trust Enoctus once again, although we understand that might not be possible after the damages caused.
